When dealing with a sloped landscape, finding the right balance between functional structural support and visual appeal is key. For a recent project in Mt. Washington, KY, our team was tasked with stabilizing an eroded, sloping area and creating a clean, finished look for the home’s exterior. Retaining wall construction requires the proper base first to ensure the integrity and longevity of the wall. We prepped the base area and levelled the proper drainage stone to carefully create this retaining wall. The finished wall creates a beautiful structure while providing the much needed support as well. Whether you want to build a wall extension, a landscape feature, or anything else requiring pavers or retaining walls, give us a call today to schedule your project at 502-499-7841 or simply request service here today!
Having handled snow and ice management for Pearson’s Funeral Home in St. Matthews, KY for many years, we were thrilled when they recently reached out to us to renovate the main entrance sign area. A commercial property’s exterior sets the tone for every visitor who arrives. For Pearson's Funeral Home, creating a warm, peaceful, and welcoming environment is especially important. We removed all of the outdated and overgrown shrubs around the sign and prepped for the new installation while keeping the two mature shrubs on either side of the sign that created a nice frame for the space. We installed a variety of plants and shrubs including Nandinas, Bobo Hydrangeas, Daylillies, Salvias, Liriope, Coneflowers, and Daisies for a variety of heights, colors, and blooms. We installed Grade “A” Cedar mulch and the transformation was stunning. Even an employee came out before our crew left to share how beautiful he thought the landscaping was after installation. Your business’s entrance and street facing landscaping should make the right statement. WLS offers full service commercial property maintenance for businesses throughout the Louisville areas.
