Watch out for Safety Cones in Louisville, KY

April 27, 2025

We take the safety of our crews very seriously! As you’re driving, be sure to pay attention to safety cones, posted speed signs, and other safety precautions for our crew and other service members in the city.

Spring and summer are some of the busiest seasons for lawn and landscaping work, meaning you’ll see more crews out maintaining yards, parks, and public spaces. While we’re committed to delivering top-quality service, safety always comes first—for our workers, our clients, and the community.

Your awareness and cooperation make a huge difference! By driving carefully around work zones, you’re helping us keep our team safe while we keep your lawns looking their best.

Fall is a great time of year to plant trees and shrubs in the Louisville area. The major heat of summer is gone, but the soil temperatures are still warm. This gives two benefits to your newly planted tree or shrub - cooler weather is easier on new plant installation while the warm soil still encourages strong root growth.

Your lawn care shouldn't stop at the end of the summer. Fall and winter are critical times for your lawn's overall health and root development.

At WLS, we believe every home deserves to shine and the landscape is an integral part of showcasing your home's natural beauty. Recently, we worked on a property for our long-time customer in Highview, KY where the front shrubs and trees had become overgrown and were hiding the home’s features. The challenge for this particular property included overgrown shrubs blocking walkways and windows, extra foliage crowding the foundation beds, and a general need for reshaping and refreshing the landscape.
