Did you know that your lawn is made up of 1000s of individual grass plants?

Seeding is one of the most important things you can do for your lawn’s overall health, appearance, and ability to naturally fight weeds.

Seeding increases the total number of healthy grass plants in your lawn which boosts density. Achieving an ideal density helps to naturally suppress weeds because there isn’t space for them to establish.

We use a Certified Tall Fescue Premium seed that is a blend of three different types of Fescue including shade tolerant and drought tolerant varieties and is guaranteed to be 0% weed seeds.

We recommend seeding in the fall because the soil is still warm from months of summer but cool-season grass seed germinates best when soil temperatures reach 50 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit. This combination of warm soil, moderate daytime temperatures and cool evenings encourages fast germination and establishment of newly sown cool-season grass seed.

Leaf clean up can seem like a constant struggle in the fall. Falling leaves can quickly accumulate, creating an unsightly and potentially hazardous layer on your lawn. There are also many issues that excess leaves can create for your lawn if you don’t clean up your leaves.
